Born in 1987, the artist Justine Emard began using augmented reality and artificial intelligence early to create videos, installations and performances. With her work currently exhibited in France, the Netherlands, South Korea, Japan and New Zealand, she discusses her interest in technology, the issues it raises and her upcoming projects.

🇯🇵 JP Justine Emardはフランス人・アーティスト。パリ在住。彼女の作品は人間の存在とテクノロジーの間に確立されつつある新たな関係性を探求を行なっている。写真、ビデオ、ヴァーチャルリアリティなどの様々なメディアを組み合わせ、脳神経科学、彫刻、3Dプリント、有機生命、人工知能の交差点に位置した作品の創作を行う。 2017年、東京のプロジェクトにおいてInstitut FrançaisのレジデンスHors-les-mursを獲得。 2021-22年、Le Fresnoy, Studio national des arts contemporainsに客員教授として招聘、Cnes（国立宇宙研究センター）にアーティスト・レジデンスとして滞在。モスクワ現代美術ビエンナーレ、NRW Forum（デュッセルドルフ）、シンガポール国立博物館、モスクワ近代美術館、Itaú Cultural（サンパウロ）、Cinémathèque Québécoise（モントリオール）、森美術館（東京）、東京都現代美術館、アイルランド近代美術館（ダブリン）、Barbican Center（ロンドン）、カラチビエンナーレ（パキスタン）、成都ビエンナーレ（中国）など国際的な美術館、ビエンナーレで作品を展示。 2020年にはカールスルーエのZKM（Center for Art and Media Karlsruhe）に滞在。CNAP（National Center for Visual Arts）とパリのJeu de Paume（Jeu de Paume）によるナショナル・フォトグラフィー・コミッション「IMAGE 3.0」を受賞。 作品はCNAP（フランス国立現代美術センター）、FRAC（フランス地域現代美術センター）、ZKM（ドイツ）、蔚山美術館（韓国）などの美術館に収蔵されている。
