Annonce | Pulsations, c’est le titre de l’exposition du Pavillon de la France à l’Exposition Universelle d’Osaka-Kansai 2025. Le concept de l’exposition a été révélé hier à la Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine par M. Emmanuel Macron, président de la République française, et M. Jacques Maire, commissaire général du Pavillon.
Les pulsations, c’est le dénominateur commun aux êtres—vivants, végétaux, minéraux, technologiques.
En association avec GSM Project, nous sommes fiers d’avoir conceptualisé et créé l’expérience de visite au cœur du Pavillon, qui proposera aux publics japonais et internationaux de vivre ces pulsations.
Notre concept est une réponse au thème d’un hymne à l’amour proposé par le Pavillon de la France et aux défis lancés par Expo 2025 Osaka de penser la société du futur. Bien plus qu’une vitrine commerciale, le Pavillon se veut une réponse artistique aux défis du monde. Un Pavillon-œuvre.

« L’artiste plasticienne Justine Emard a été missionnée comme directrice artistique de l’exposition permanente du Pavillon France. Elle a conceptualisé les grandes lignes de force et les chapitres de l’expérience de visite en association avec GSM Project à la scénographie. Telle une pulsation, l’exposition nous plonge dans une narration issue de l’interprétation d’un signal, un battement tel le dénominateur commun aux êtres—vivants, végétaux, minéraux, technologiques… La vision sensible de Justine Emard porte une direction commune dans la co-création visuelle et sonore de l’exposition. Son écriture numérique dessine un monde où les pulsations, vibrations, ondes et battements sont les témoins invisibles d’une coexistence pour le futur. En puisant ses inspirations dans la légende de l’Akai Ito, fil rouge de l’amour, Justine Emard a tissé le fil conducteur qui noue le destin entre la France et le Japon, de l’entrée du Pavillon jusqu’à la dernière envolée finale, cœur battant de l’exposition. »
Announcement | The exhibition title for the French Pavilion at the World Expo Osaka Kansai will be Pulsations. The exhibition’s concept was unveiled yesterday at the Cité de l’architecture et du patrimoine in Paris by Mr. Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, and Mr. Jacques Maire, general commissioner of the Pavilion.
Pulsations are the common denominator between all existences—human, plant, mineral, technological.
In association with GSM Project, we are proud to have conceptualized and created the Pavilion’s visitor experience, offering audiences the opportunity to experience pulsations.
Our concept is a response to the theme « An Hymne of Love » proposed by France and to the goal envisioned by the Universal Expo to rethink our connection to the future. Much more than a commercial showcase, the Pavilion is intended to be an artistic response to the challenges of the world. A Pavilion conceived as an art installation.
